Astro Bot Gameplay
Astro Bot is a captivating space-themed 3D platformer game, allowing you to pilot Astro Bot through an exhilarating cosmic journey. This gameplay style shares similarities with Astro’s Playroom, the demonstrative game that came pre-installed on every PS5 console. In this expanded story, players venture across 60 planets in search of Astro’s scattered crew members, comprising a total of 305 Bots.
In a common style for 3D action-adventure games, Astro has the ability to dash, swing, and combat adversaries during his voyage. The game presents fresh abilities for Astro, enabling the robot to solve puzzles and navigate barriers, all uniquely designed to enhance immersion. These capabilities maximize the use of DualSense technology, particularly haptic feedback. With more than 90 levels spread across six galaxies and 60 planets, the game provides countless hours of gameplay, exploration, and immersive experiences.

In this game, the character Astro navigates using a spaceship modeled after the DualSense controller, known as the Dual Speeder. This ship allows him to transition between different levels. Additionally, players can gather coins that can be spent in the game’s Gatcha machine. This machine provides items for the VIP Bots when used.
Optional challenging stages will also be arriving as future DLC.
Astro Bot Story
The adventure begins as Astro’s longtime cosmic adversary, Space Bully Nebulax, launches an attack on the PlayStation 5 mothership, scattering its robotic inhabitants across space. Now, it falls upon Astro to set off on a mission to rectify the situation – rescuing its comrades and guiding them back home, and eventually rebuilding the damaged mothership.
After Astro manages to save enough companions and fix a sufficient amount of their spaceship, it will then pursue the menacing Space Bully Nebulax, culminating in a final showdown to recover the stolen CPU that Nebulax took during its assault on the PlayStation 5 mothership.
