At the beginning of a level, you’ll come across an unusual item – a birdhouse enclosed in a domed glass – that wasn’t there during your initial playthrough. The base of this item bears the number 200, indicating it can be opened with 200 coins. This special feature is accessible only when you replay a level you’ve already finished.
First, pay a fee of 200 coins, then tug on the wires to uncover a robot bird that appears to be without a name. This mechanical bird has the unique ability to signal any leftover items in the level, such as hidden bots, puzzle pieces, Void levels (secret levels hidden within other levels, not those visible on the space map), and Void levels themselves. The bird can detect collectibles from quite a distance away, and its signaling becomes more intense as you approach.
