Assassin’s Creed Shadows: April 8 Patch Fixes Frustrating Feature

In the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, while there was much excitement, there were still some issues that needed addressing. One particular aspect of the game that caused frustration for many players is a feature that’s particularly problematic.

In spite of some debate surrounding it, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows received a great deal of acclaim upon release, immersing players in feudal Japan where they could delve into the tales of Naoe and Yasuke, learn their unique fighting methods, and, not to forget, marvel at the breathtaking scenery.

Of course, just like any big-budget AAA title, there are areas that still need some polish. Fortunately, an upcoming patch on April 8 is designed to address these issues and even introduce several new features. One of the main enhancements will be addressing a particularly annoying aspect in the game.

Horse Auto-Follow

In games like AC Odyssey or more contemporary ones, you’re accustomed to hopping on your horse, marking a destination, and letting it navigate for you. However, in Shadows, you don’t have that luxury. Instead, you must actively explore the game world on your own.

Soon, however, the long-awaited feature of auto-follow for horses will be implemented, enabling you to leisurely take in the sights without fretting about colliding with buildings. Additionally, your horse’s speed within urban areas has been boosted, so say goodbye to slow walks through cities like Osaka.

Mastery Node reset

Making the right choice on which abilities to enhance using your Mastery Points in Assassin’s Creed Shadows can be a challenging task. However, you’ll have the advantage of being able to rearrange your entire skill tree setup entirely. This will give you the opportunity to experiment with various playstyles, skills, and character builds for both protagonists.

Selling & Dismantling improvements

Ultimately, you can concurrently sell and break down numerous items for quicker transactions. In merchant interactions, select the items you wish to offload or dismantle, and then sell or disassemble them in bulk at the store, Forge, or Hideout. This timesaving feature is particularly useful when you’ve amassed a large quantity of equipment.
