In about a month, we’re close to unveiling Assassin’s Creed Shadows for both consoles and PCs. The publisher, Ubisoft, has disclosed its visible Achievement List for the upcoming action RPG. Most of the achievements for this game are spoiler-free, but a few hidden ones will only be uncovered at the time of the game’s release next month.
As a gamer, I was thrilled to catch wind of some juicy new achievements straight from the publisher’s Steam post. They spilled the beans on these rewards, offering tantalizing tidbits to keep us Achievement Hunters on our toes before we dive into the breathtaking landscapes of feudal Japan. What’s more, they hinted at a few achievements that are like hidden gems—puns and references to other Assassin’s Creed games for those who love a good puzzle to solve before the game’s grand debut.
In feudal Japan, it’s not only about the battlefields. It’s a tapestry of rivers, meadows, snow-capped valleys, and springs. Master each battleground, adjust your tactics with the shifting seasons and weather, and no adversary can outmatch you, always.

On February 26th, 2025, Ubisoft shared a new post on Steam revealing the Achievement List for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set to launch on March 20th, 2025. The publishers mentioned that while creating the game’s achievement list in collaboration with their development team, they aimed to include achievements reflecting a diverse range of content, not just the main storyline but also additional elements scattered throughout the game world. This will encompass exploration, side quests, and various secondary activities, as well as building relationships with allies, the Hideout base, and more.
As an enthusiastic player, I highly recommend that you seize the opportunity to switch between characters Naoe and Yasuke during gameplay. This strategic move allows you to leverage their unique combat skills when necessary, ultimately enabling you to unlock all the in-game achievements within a single playthrough. To clarify, as suggested by the post, these Steam achievements (equivalent to Xbox achievements and PlayStation trophies) can all be earned in a single playthrough, ensuring that no achievement will elude you regardless of the choices you make during your story progression.
If a player prefers to use a single character throughout the game, they’ll need an additional one, particularly if they pick Naoe. This is because Yasuke has some related accomplishments such as “‘Mastery of Kenjutsu,’“, “‘Skilled Samurai,’“, and ‘Leap of Fail’. The publisher hinted at the latter achievement, saying, “‘Your Leap of Fail will be equally impressive whether you’re playing on story mode or expert level, as all achievements can be unlocked regardless of difficulty.’
