This decision was made clear with the delayed announcement of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, where Ubisoft pledged that future titles would be simultaneously released on Day 1 on Steam. Furthermore, they plan to revisit their existing library to port over previously released games onto Steam.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement! Star Wars Outlaws is set to storm onto Steam in November, accompanied by the Wild Card DLC. And here’s some fantastic news for all the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans out there – they’ve just added Steam Achievements to the game!
Beyond the set release date, an exciting update about Mirage’s launch is the recent announcement that Steam Achievements will be accessible from the start. The publisher has confirmed that 50 achievements will be integrated into the game at its debut; specifics on these can be found on the game’s Steam page, offering players insight into how they can unlock them.
Despite some anticipation, the French publisher hosted a Q&A session on October 10th, 2024, revealing that Assassin’s Creed Mirage would debut on Steam on October 17th, 2024. The latest installment in the primary Assassin’s Creed series invites players to accompany Basim Ibn Ishaq through 9th Century Baghdad, where they’ll embark on a shadowy adventure, ready to “tread the paths of darkness” with Basim.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that the upcoming release of Mirage on Steam will include Steam Deck verification. This means that while the game will be playable at launch, it won’t receive its “Verified” status until after the release. To enjoy Mirage on Steam, players like me will need to have a Ubisoft Connect account. This requirement is consistent with current and future releases in the gaming world.
