Asmongold responds after rapper bbno$ censors him out of music video

After being censored from a music video he collaborated on with members of OTK, streamer Asmongold has spoken up about the situation.

Established in 2020 by Asmongold, Mizkif, and others, the Twitch group One True King (OTK) has teamed up with rapper bbno$ for numerous live stream and casual chat sessions on the Amazon-hosted platform.

Back in February 2025, Asmongold disclosed that he parted ways with OTK, citing organizational shifts as the reason, and following criticism over his remarks concerning the people of Palestine.

On Sunday, the 29th of May, bbno$ unveiled the music video for his track ‘Mary Poppins’, starring several members of OTK. This video swiftly became popular on social media platforms as bbno$ strategically placed a lizard image to conceal Asmon from the video.

In the process of making this video, I wasn’t fully aware of some people’s moral viewpoints. Consequently, I decided to edit out content from individuals whose values don’t align with mine, as he stated at the onset of the TikTok clip.

With the recent departure of a member from OTK, you’ll also come across Mizkif, nmplol, Cyr, WillNeff, Emiru, and other popular Twitch broadcasters in that group.

He stated during his live broadcast, “I don’t anticipate anyone to wave my flag or stand up for me. What truly matters to me is doing what’s right. If my actions are not right and people disagree with me… that’s acceptable. Honestly, I felt remorseful about this. I felt like I caused an inconvenience.

“I harbor absolutely no grudge against him. I intended to reach out to him with an apology, but wasn’t sure if they would share it online.

Responding to a post on X, Asmon playfully commented: “It’s quite thoughtful of them to add extra teeth during post-production. No one has ever cared for my teeth like that before.

It was incredibly thoughtful of them to provide extra teeth during post-production. No one has ever shown such consideration towards me in this regard before.

Just recently, I’ve found myself reflecting on a point made by Asmongold about why he believes Twitch ought to prohibit political streams across the platform altogether.
