As a devoted fan who’s been following Asmongold’s journey for quite some time now, I must say that his recent Twitch ban has turned out to be an unexpected blessing in disguise for him. While initially it might have seemed like a setback, he managed to transform those two weeks into the “greatest two weeks of his life.
According to Asmongold, he considers his latest Twitch ban as the most remarkable two-week period in his life, and he shares details about how he spent that break.
As a content creator, I found myself back on the streaming platform, having served a two-week suspension due to remarks I made concerning the escalating situation in Palestine.
mere days following my recent return to streaming, I found myself seated alongside Tectone and Emiru for yet another scrumptious installment of the Steak and Eggs Podcast.
Immediately, Asmon shared that he found the two-week break from streaming on Twitch quite pleasant and he didn’t feel the absence of the platform at all.
Topic starts at 1:20 minute mark
Initially, after receiving his Twitch ban, he found himself inundated with messages from his community and others, expressing concern and reaching out to see how he was coping.
Asmon started off by saying, “Upon being banned, many people reached out to me. I just want to check if you’re alright.
Nevertheless, the content creator was open about the fact that he appreciated the break and used it for leisurely activities such as socializing and relaxing, instead of being preoccupied with his ban.
Currently, I’m relaxing in my garden with my phone, scrolling through comments about me and enjoying some random YouTube clips.
Afterward, he expressed that these two weeks were the most extraordinary of his life, and finding nothing to do made it the most enjoyable aspect of his break.
As a gamer, when Tectone cracked a joke about needing to be banned just to have some downtime, I couldn’t help but chuckle and agree with Asmon. It sure does feel great sometimes!
After receiving a ban on Twitch, Asmongold expressed regret for past “discriminatory” remarks and announced intentions to make a fresh start in every aspect of his life. This transformation begins with tidying up his home and adjusting the subject matter he concentrates on during live streams.
In the podcast, Asmon shared that his house renovation project is currently halfway completed, with plenty of work left to finish.
