Okay, so this is wild! Asmongold and Adin Ross are actually putting together their own awards show, and it’s kind of going head-to-head with QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards. It’s going to be interesting to see how this all plays out – two shows competing for the same recognition!
Although streamers have received recognition at events like the Esports Awards and The Game Awards, QTCinderella took the initiative to create an awards show dedicated entirely to online broadcasters, funding it herself.
I remember when QT’s event first started back in March 2022 – it quickly became something everyone in the community looked forward to each year! But honestly, it hasn’t been without drama. Some pretty big influencers have called her out, saying she plays favorites or just haven’t been happy with who gets nominated or what categories are even included.
Earlier this year, streamer Adin Ross revealed plans for his own award show, stating he wanted to create a better alternative and challenge QT’s existing show.

So, it’s been a few months, and he’s really committed to this idea now! He’s even gotten Asmongold, another big streamer, on board to help him out, which is awesome.
Asmongold teams up with Adin Ross to create streamer awards show
In October 2025, Asmongold discussed the show on his broadcast, responding to Ross’s announcement that he planned to host it in Los Angeles.
“I’m in,” Asmongold replied. “We need to plan everything out – like what categories the event will have, where it will be held, who will present it, and how to get people to attend. We also need to think about judges, a production crew, and how to make it worth everyone’s while.”
Okay, so realistically, I’m thinking we need to aim for the end of December. But honestly, that’s super early! Getting a venue booked and everyone coordinated is going to be a challenge, and we’ll need to seriously think about security – like, major security.
Asmongold and Adin Ross are teaming up to create a streamer awards show. Asmongold discussed key planning points, including deciding on award categories, finding hosts and presenters, securing attendance, assembling a production crew, choosing judges, and planning for security. They’re aiming for late December, though they acknowledge that’s a tight timeframe.

Asmongold had previously said he was willing to collaborate with Ross on the show, and Ross seemed excited about the possibility of working together.
Ross enthusiastically agreed, saying, “Absolutely! No, let’s not use the warehouse—Vegas or LA would be better.” He said this in response to someone’s comment.
Kick has joined the discussion, playfully offering to host a potential event called ‘The Shame Awards’ with Asmongold on their platform in 2026. This came after Asmongold jokingly mentioned the idea earlier this month.

So far, there aren’t many details about Asmongold and Adin Ross’s competing Streamer Awards shows, and fans are eager to see how they stack up against each other.
In August, TopMob interviewed QTCinderella about how she created the popular Streamer Awards and what she’s planning for the future.
