For Ashveil in Honkai: Star Rail, the ideal setup includes his unique weapon, The Finale of a Lie, and the Ashblazing Grand Duke relic set. Pair this with either the City of Converging Stars or Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves planar ornaments. While designed as a secondary damage dealer or support character, Ashveil can also perform very well as your main damage dealer.

Ashveil Best Light Cones In HSR
| Light Cone |
Why It’s Good |
| The Finale of a Lie |
The Finale of a Lie gives Ashveil a huge addition to his Crit Rate and ATK. It also increases the DMG taken by all enemies by 20%, making it the perfect damage dealer/support weapon for Ashveil in HSR. |
| Baptism of Pure Thought |
Baptism of Pure Thought increases Crit DMG instead of Crit Rate, and it requires you to have debuffs on the enemies to perform optimally. It also increases the DMG Ashveil deals after using Ultimate, and allows his follow-up attacks to ignore a portion of the target’s DEF. This weapon is perfect if you bring a debuffer into the team, but don’t bring too many DEF reduction skills, as you won’t benefit from reduction past 100% DEF. |
| Worrisome, Blissful |
Worrisome, Blissful is Topaz’s best-in-slot Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail. It increases Crit Rate like Ashveil’s weapon, and boosts his follow-up attack DMG. Like his best weapon, this Light Cone provides a team boost. It can increase Crit DMG dealt on an enemy by 24% on R1. There’s also I Venture Forth to Hunt, which is Feixiao’s signature weapon. While it’s decent, it’s not as universally useful as the other two 5-star weapons. Additionally, the DEF ignore effect means you shouldn’t use other DEF-decreasing units to avoid diminishing returns. |
| The Hell Where Ideals Burn |
The Hell Where Ideals Burn is an amazing generalist weapon for DPS, but only if a max-SP-increasing unit like Sparkle is in the party. Otherwise, it’s better to stick with follow-up attack equipment. |
| Cruising in the Stellar Sea |
Cruising in the Stellar Sea is the best F2P option for Ashveil. Its passive demands the wielder to eliminate an enemy constantly, but since Ashveil can deal great damage, it shouldn’t be too hard for him. However, the bonus will be nonexistent in a solo boss fight. |
| 4-Star Light Cone |
If someone else uses Cruising in the Stellar Sea, then you can opt for 4-star Light Cones. See You At the End is a Battle Pass weapon that’s perfect for Ashveil. But if you’re F2P, consider Only Silence Remains or Swordplay. |
Ashveil Best Relics In HSR
| Relic Set |
Why It’s Good |
| The Ashblazing Grand Duke |
The best set to complement Ashveil’s follow-up attack playstyle. It increases follow-up attack damage on its two-piece, and even more on its four-piece. Ashveil’s multi-hit attack will immediately stack the Relic’s effect to full power. |
| Planar Ornament Set |
Why It’s Good |
| City of Converging Stars |
Increases Ashveil’s ATK while boosting the team’s Crit DMG. Perfect for Sub-DPS/Support Ashveil. |
| Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves |
The best option for the main DPS Ashveil. Greatly boost follow-up attack DMG and Crit DMG. |
| The Wondrous BananAmusement Park |
Massive Crit DMG boost, but only if you have Dan Heng PT’s summon bonded to Ashveil. Otherwise, don’t use this set. |
