Asa Butterfield, Molly Windsor, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran and Christopher Eccleston Set for Netflix Series ‘Out of the Dust’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned cinema enthusiast with a keen eye for gripping narratives and a soft spot for psychological thrillers, I can hardly contain my excitement over Netflix’s upcoming series “Out of the Dust.” The stellar cast, led by Molly Windsor, Asa Butterfield, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran, and Christopher Eccleston, promises a captivating tale that delves deep into the human psyche.

In this upcoming Netflix series titled “Out of the Dust,” penned by Julie Gearey, who brought us “Intergalactic,” I’m proud to be part of an exceptional cast that includes Asa Butterfield, known for his role in “Sex Education,” Molly Windsor, who shone in “Three Girls,” Fra Fee from “Hawkeye,” the esteemed Siobhan Finneran, recognized for her work in “Time,” and the talented Christopher Eccleston, famed for his time on “True Detective.”

In a conservative Christian community, the gripping tale “Out of the Dust” unfolds, recounting the journey of Rosie (Windsor). As a devoted wife and mother, her life takes a surprising turn towards perilous liberation and sensual discovery when she crosses paths with Sam (Fee), a fugitive on the run.

In this upcoming six-part series produced by Double Dutch Productions, which falls under Banijay U.K., I’m thrilled to be part of a talented cast. I, myself, will be portraying Adam, while Finneran brings Mrs Phillips to life on screen, and we have the esteemed Eccleston joining us as Mr Phillips.

In the synopsis, it’s stated that I, along with my husband Adam and our daughter, reside within a secluded Christian community. The unexpected arrival of a fugitive named Sam disrupts the tranquility of our life, unveiling the true nature and limitations of this enclosed society. It seems there might be ulterior motives hidden behind the veil of this religious commune. As tensions rise and my marriage starts to falter, Sam emerges as a potential ally. Yet, with his questionable criminal background, it becomes challenging to determine where the most significant threat originates – from the enigmatic cult or the mysterious Sam?

Filming commenced this month in the United Kingdom, with Jim Loach (“Criminal Record”) and Philippa Langdale (“A Discovery of Witches”) at the helm as directors.

Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown serve as executive producers, joined by Gearey, at Double Dutch Productions. Nick Pitt takes on the role of producer in this project.

In 2022, “Intergalactic” producer Vrolyk founded Double Dutch Productions, which has the support of Banijay U.K. Their inaugural project is a series titled “Out of the Dust.”
