It’s uncertain if we can endure any more show cancellations. The cancelation of Hulu’s “How to Die Alone” after just one season was disappointing, and the single-season termination of “Death and Other Details” was sad as well. One of the funniest shows I’ve discovered on Hulu is called “Adults.” It has a similar feel to one of my all-time favorite TV series, “Friends,” since it revolves around a group of friends living in New York and experiencing numerous outrageous situations. Watching this show as a Gen-Z audience member, you’ll find yourself laughing at various amusing scenarios, such as seeing someone eat raw turkey while under the influence of ketamine or repeatedly attempting to unclog a toilet.
Moreover, unlike numerous friendship shows centered on love conflicts such as triangles or squares, it was refreshing to discover one that intentionally avoids such plots… for the time being, at any rate.
Fellow enthusiasts, it seems sensible that we should heed Jack Innanen’s amusing yet truthful remark about tuning in to his series for a chance at another season. In the realm of streaming, figures often carry more weight than numerous other aspects. Therefore, let’s make an effort to boost those viewer counts, shall we?
