Despite this, players have been enjoying themselves immensely. As Season 4 is nearing its conclusion, there’s an exciting development on the horizon: Team Jade has hinted that the upcoming Season 5, titled Break, will include a surprising collaboration with the game _Arknights_. If you’re not much into the game Arknights, here’s a brief explanation. Essentially, Arknights is a blend of tactical RPG and tower defense genres, created by Hypergryph and distributed globally by Yostar. The game was initially released in China in May 2019, but it became accessible to international players in January 2020. You can play it on both mobile devices and PC platforms.

In a grim, futuristic setting, you assume the role of a Doctor, overseeing Rhodes Island – a combined medical and military faction. Your objective is to discover a remedy for a widespread infection while shielding the afflicted from oppression. The game boasts an exquisite anime aesthetic, exceptional voice acting (notably in the Japanese version), and an addictive soundtrack that lingers long after play. Additionally, it presents demanding late-game content such as Integrated Strategies and Contingency Contract. Moreover, the franchise is growing with a role-playing game spin-off, which was initially teased in 2022.

This collaboration isn’t a first for Arknights; it has previously held two crossover events with Rainbow Six: Siege.
