This choice, leaning towards taupe tones, was unexpected given that the actress from “Wicked” has predominantly been seen in various shades of pink during the film’s press tour. For the Oscars, she will be wearing a Schiaparelli gown, which was presented in their 2025 haute couture collection in January. According to the Schiaparelli website, the dress is inspired by an archive Giacometti lamp. Interestingly, Grande appears to have tanned more than usual, making her skin tone resemble her golden hair. Coincidentally, the red carpet’s step-and-repeat also seems to share a similar earthy tone. Notably, Pantone did declare “mocha mousse” as the Color of the Year.
