Fortiche Prod recently shared photos of the main actors who worked on Arcane. The animated action series, based on Riot Games’ League of Legends, took many by surprise when it launched in 2021, quickly becoming one of Netflix’s most popular and critically acclaimed animated fantasy shows.
The animated series Arcane concluded its second season in 2024, and plans are underway for several spinoffs. The show centers on the rivalry between the wealthy city of Piltover and the developing, impoverished nation of Zaun, complicated by outside influences and the groundbreaking research of scientists exploring the potential of a mysterious energy source called Arcane.
Fans are still enjoying Arcane even though a spin-off is likely a long way off, considering the detailed animation. The main show is always available to rewatch, and Fortiche Production continues to share small bits of content. Recently, an animation student shared behind-the-scenes images of the show’s characters being created.

The characters from the animated series Arcane look like real actors caught in candid moments – either during a scene, or relaxing after a day of shooting. This includes images of Vi and Jinx hugging, Jayce, Viktor, and Mel together, and Jinx and Echo posed with their younger versions.
We also see some behind-the-scenes photos of the actors looking at the script during filming. These include moments like Caitlyn and Vi together in Caitlyn’s room, and the scene where Jinx kills Silco – a photo shows him still tied to a chair, reviewing the script with her.
Arcane is a generally serious and intense show, so scenes of the characters simply relaxing and having fun together are special and stand out. Even though the show wasn’t filmed on a real set, these images still capture the dedication and enthusiasm the team poured into the series over several years of work.
The passion fans have for the story of Arcane is what keeps the creative team inspired to build on the world and include details like this as they continue to develop it.
