ARC Raiders: Using the Dam Staff Room Key – Full Guide

If you want to be a top Raider in Toledo, you’ll need good equipment to protect yourself from the ARCs and other raiders roaming the wasteland. Getting powerful weapons and blueprints in ARC Raiders is tough, but using keys to unlock special rooms greatly improves your chances of finding valuable, rare items.

You can find these keys while exploring the world and completing quests, but they’re rare. If you find one, hold onto it tightly and check our ARC Raiders Directory for information on how to use it.

This guide will show you how and where to use the Dam Staff Room Key, a rare key known for unlocking access to several powerful items.

Where To Use The Dam Staff Room Key

To begin, choose the Dam Battlegrounds map. Also, remember to always keep your keys in your safe pocket before heading out – that way, you won’t lose them if you’re defeated.

We’re going to a dangerous area with valuable loot, so expect heavy fighting with Raiders and automated robots. Be ready for a tough battle, and hope we get lucky.

Locate The Research And Administration Building

You can find the key to the Dam Staff Room in the Research and Administration building, which is located in the center of the map. The pictures show the quickest way to get there: through the side entrance on the West side of the building.

The Research and Administration building, shown in the image, is easy to find because it’s connected to the Control Tower, which is visible from far away.

Okay, so in this screenshot, you can see my Raider, Gorgon, coming up to the building from the south. There’s an arrow showing where a hallway is – it leads to the side entrance that faces west.

Find The Side Entrance

Be careful as you enter – there’s a security camera outside and an alarm right inside the door. The building is usually guarded by several ARCs, like pops, ticks, and fireballs, so it’s best to disable the alarms first if possible.

Look for a sign above the side entrance that says “Enelica Administration” (pictured below). Remove the security camera to its right, enter the building, and disable the alarm immediately inside. You’ll then be very close to where you need to go.

Dam Staff Room Location

Okay, so when you come in through that side entrance, the Dam Staff Room is right in front of you. Just use your key to get inside fast! I’ve learned the hard way that you can’t always count on other Raiders to respect your claim if you’re scavenging – you really need to secure the area quickly.

Shut the door and secure it with barricades, traps, or explosives to prevent anyone from surprising you.

Just because a key is hard to find doesn’t mean the room it unlocks is full of great stuff. The Dam Staff Room only needed a pretty common key, but I still managed to find two really powerful items inside: a photoelectric cloak and a deadline mine.
