Arc Raiders maps often include ways to interact with the environment to find loot or open doors, but the Blue Gate map stands out for its actual puzzles. If you’ve already solved the puzzle at the Ancient Fort in the south, you might be trying to figure out how to open the cellar door at Raider’s Refuge on the western side of the map. How to open the cellar door at Raider’s Refuge

If you’ve been to Raider’s Refuge, you might have noticed the cellar built into the side of the building. Look for the four lights above it – they’re a hint about how to open it. Here’s how it works…

To unlock the cellar door at Raider’s Refuge, you need to find and press four buttons hidden somewhere within or near the location. The image below shows you what the buttons look like.

The four buttons always appear in a limited number of places, though their exact spots can vary slightly. For example, one button is often near the cellar door, but it might be knocked over and harder to see. If you’ve found a button in a specific location before, it’s likely to reappear there. Here are some of the most common places to look:

  • Directly in front of the cellar door.
  • Inside the main structure, often next to or behind furniture.
  • On the roof near the bell tower or on the various ledges up there.
  • In the attic, accessed by dropping off the roof.
  • Along the outer walls of the main structure, such as against a generator or behind panels.
  • Within the smaller ruins in the area surrounding the main structure of Raider’s Refuge, including their basements.

Once you’ve pressed all four buttons, the cellar door will unlock, revealing a ladder leading down. You’ll find a room below filled with treasure to explore.

The amount of loot you find in the cellar changes each time, but it usually has cabinets, drawers, and a Security Breach locker with pretty good items. It’s not the absolute best place to search for loot on Blue Gate, but it’s worth a look if you’re nearby and have a few minutes to spare.
