Players of the game Arc Raiders have found a bug in the Stella Montis map that allows them to clip through the ceiling, giving them an unfair advantage and making it easier to eliminate opponents.
Arc Raiders has had a strong start, with over 12 million copies sold and positive reviews. However, the game is now facing a significant problem with players cheating and finding ways to unfairly gain advantages.
So, the developers at Embark Studios are finally getting serious about cheaters and are permanently banning anyone caught using hacks. It’s good to see them taking action, but honestly, I’m still running into players who seem to be using some kind of unfair advantage – it’s super frustrating!
Players on the new Stella Montis map are discovering clever ways to exploit the environment, even finding glitches that allow them to leave the playable area and surprise unsuspecting opponents.
Stella Montis exploit has Arc Raiders players fighting in the ceiling
To perform this glitch, go to a corner of a room and climb onto something that gets you near the ceiling. Then, by jumping, moving towards the wall, and quickly changing direction, you can trigger a ‘Fix Player’ message. This message will cause your character to fall through the floor or walls.
Okay, so once you get outside the normal map area, it’s amazing! You can run on the ceiling and through vents without having to worry about enemies or the Arc. The best part? You can even shoot down at other teams from above, and they’ll be totally confused about what hit them. It’s a game changer!
This feature is limited to the Stella Montis map, as it’s the only one designed primarily for indoor gameplay – all other maps are set outdoors.
EMBARK PLS FIX THIS CEILING GLITCH ON STELLA

Ever since players noticed the issue, they’ve been asking Embark Studios to fix it. In the meantime, some dedicated players are attempting to work around it on their own.
A player on X, known as ‘aimkey,’ and their teammates saw another team using a glitch to unfairly bother other players. They decided to leave the map themselves and find the offending team. As aimkey put it, “Since the game developers haven’t fixed the glitch that lets people go through ceilings, we had to deal with it ourselves.”
since embark cant fix ceiling glitches, we had to take matters into our own hands😈

The developers haven’t officially addressed the glitch that lets players break through the ceiling yet, but they’re consistently updating Arc Raiders, so a fix is likely coming soon. Also, since Embark is now strongly punishing cheaters, it’s best not to try the glitch yourself, or you could get banned.
