Arc Raiders sometimes requires you to venture to the surface to complete repair tasks, and it’s up to you to bring the necessary tools. For example, the ‘After Rain Comes‘ quest sends you to Buried City to fix solar panels. To avoid being unprepared, we’ve put together a guide to help you gather everything you’ll need.
To finish “After Rain Comes,” you’ll need 2 batteries and 5 wires. It’s a good idea to keep these items secure in your pockets, so you don’t lose them during travel, in a fight, or if you encounter hostile enemies on the way to the solar panels.

Where to find Batteries and Wires
You can find Batteries and Wires almost anywhere, but they’re especially common in technological or electrical locations on the map. If you haven’t been selling everything you find, you probably already have some stored. You can also get more by recycling other electrical items – Power Cables will give you Wires, and Industrial Batteries will give you Batteries.
If you don’t have enough Batteries or Wires, the easiest way to finish this quest is to buy them from Celeste in Speranza. She sells up to 10 of each per day.

Where to find and repair the solar panels in Buried City
To fix the solar panels for the ‘After Rain Comes’ quest, head to the west side of the Grandioso Apartments. Be careful – this area is popular with players looking for loot, so watch out for enemies above you while you’re working on the ground.
Once you get here, look for a yellow box located beneath one of the solar panels. Use the batteries and wires you have to fix it. This will restore power and complete the quest.
Now that you’ve finished the quest, you can leave whenever you want. While it’s not required, we suggest extracting at Western Station, which is a little northeast of the solar panels, to complete your escape.
