Applebee’s and IHOP Team Up: The Ultimate Restaurant Mashup You Need to Try!

Applebee’s and IHOP have recently launched their first joint restaurant in Texas, offering a unique dining experience with selections from both beloved eateries on the menu.

For several years, Dine Brands, which operates both Applebee’s and IHOP, has been experimenting with restaurants that feature both brands under one roof.

As I eagerly share this news with fellow gaming enthusiasts, let me tell you that new gaming centers have popped up in a total of 13 locations – Canada, Mexico, Honduras, and even the Middle East! While it’s fantastic for gamers across these regions, us Americans are left anxiously awaiting the day they decide to expand stateside.

Back on the 18th of February, 2025, I was thrilled to learn that Dine was setting up shop! Their grand unveiling marked the launch of their first 15 dual-branded eateries across the United States, with the very first one right here in Texas. Can’t wait to see what they bring to our dining scene!

Applebee’s combines with IHOP in the same building

The restaurant showcases two well-known labels outside its establishment and offers a mix of dishes from each menu. This range includes staples like pancakes, omelettes, chicken wings, burgers, and many other tasty options.

Upon entering, you’ll discover common restrooms, the reception desk, and the kitchen area, all conveniently located together. Additionally, our unique offerings include the latest additions to our menu such as the Buffalo Chicken Omelette and the Ultimate Breakfast Burger.

The news about the launch spread through social media, with TikToker snachwithzach playfully referring to the collaboration as “Applehop”. He added that while the company has previously had such combined restaurants in Detroit, Michigan, this Texas location is the first one they are actively promoting.

For some time now, there’s been an established spot in Detroit, however, the initial location that IHOP is promoting is in Texas,” he noted.

A multitude of enthusiasts rushed to express their opinions under the post, many of them eagerly anticipating a possible visit to one of the jointly branded eateries.

“So… I can get $1 drinks AND pancakes in the same spot?” one user asked.

I’ve got to agree – since they’re under the same corporate umbrella, it does make sense. The idea is intriguing, but honestly, I’m just thrilled about mimosas at IHOP!
