According to our sources, Apple TV+ has secured the worldwide distribution rights for the Spanish-language mystery show titled “You Would Do It Too,” also known as “Tú También lo Harías.
The eight-part television series is being produced by Legendary Television and Espotlight Media. Starting October 30, it will premiere worldwide as an original series on Apple, releasing its first two episodes simultaneously. New episodes will follow each week, concluding the season on December 11 with the final episode.
The show features Ana Polvorosa, known from “Cable Girls”, Michelle Jenner who played in “Berlin”, Pablo Molinero, famed for his role in “The Plague”, and José Manuel Poga, a star of “Money Heist”.
The show unfolds after a bus robbery near Barcelona, which leaves three robbers dead. Originally partners and lovers who are now detectives, they aim to clarify the contradictory accounts of six witnesses regarding the incident before time expires. In a world where perception frequently dominates reality, this swift-paced thriller underscores the value of truth in our contemporary society, revealing how far people will push boundaries to safeguard their own versions of it.
The show ‘Tú También lo Harías’ was developed by David Victori and Jordi Vallejo, who additionally serve as executive producers. Victori also took on the role of director for the series. Anxo Rodriguez is another executive producer, while Legendary TV and Espotlight are involved in its production.
Apple TV+’s collection of Spanish-language series continues to expand, with the newest addition joining shows such as “Acapulco” featuring Eugenio Derbez, “Las Azules” from Bárbara Mori, “Land of Women” starring Eva Longoria, and the upcoming medical drama “Midnight Family.
