It’s been confirmed that Jack Kesy has joined the cast of Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan’s forthcoming heist series on Apple TV+, according to our sources.
The show was acquired by Apple in May 2024. Its tagline goes like this: “12 12 12” spans three action-packed timelines: the year-long planning phase, the 12-hour heist itself, and the subsequent 12 days post-heist. The story revolves around a former FBI agent (Mackie) who has fallen from grace and an American criminal (Dornan) with a long career. They engage in a game of cat and mouse that takes them across Europe. The heart of the series is a daring, thrilling bank raid in Zurich, taking place deep beneath its streets.
More recently, Kesy took on the role of Hellboy in the movie “Hellboy: The Crooked Man,” becoming the third actor to bring the famous comic book character to life on screen after Ron Perlman and David Harbour. His cinematic credits also include appearances in “Deadpool 2,” “The Killer,” “Sheroes,” and “12 Strong.” On television, Kesy has previously featured in shows such as “The Strain” and “Claws.
He is repped by Paradigm and Range Media Partners.
In my humble opinion as a cinephile, the intriguing series titled “12 12 12” is a collaborative effort of Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, who also take on executive producer roles. Kari Skogland steps up to direct the pilot and assumes an executive producer role as well. The talented duo, Dornan and Mackie, join in as executive producers, with Mackie heading production under his Make It With Gravy banner. Jason Spire of Inspire Entertainment joins forces with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell from Skydance Television, along with Anonymous Content, in executive producing this compelling project. Notably, “12 12 12” is a collaborative effort between Anonymous Content and Skydance TV.
