A moderator has been removed from the r/LivestreamFail subreddit because the moderation team couldn’t confirm the reasons given for deleting posts related to claims about ExtraEmily using a program called Viewbot.ai.
Okay, so there’s more drama happening with LSF, and it’s really frustrating as a fan. It’s only been a few months since they removed Stale2000, who used to be a major moderator, after a big mess involving a project called “Million Dollar Fan.” TopMob actually reported on that whole thing back in January, and now there’s another issue popping up. It feels like things are constantly happening and it’s hard to keep up!
The moderators of the LSF subreddit announced they took down the original ExtraEmily thread because one of them believed the Viewbot.ai website was simply a temporary ad connected to the 67speed site.
The team tried repeatedly to bring up the same pop-up on various browsers, in private browsing windows, and on phones, but couldn’t get it to reappear.

Banned mod sends 6,000+ messages to ExtraEmily
At first, the moderators believed the team member’s account and started deleting other posts and comments related to the issue.
So, after looking into things more closely, the team started to suspect the moderator wasn’t being truthful about that pop-up message. It seemed like they might have made it up to shield ExtraEmily. What really got them concerned, though, was finding out the moderator was a huge fan and active member of ExtraEmily’s community – a real dedicated follower! They felt that created a clear conflict of interest and made it impossible for the situation to be handled fairly.
People responding to the situation shared records from the moderator’s Twitch chat, revealing he’d sent over 6,400 messages in ExtraEmily’s chat since April began.

The statistic immediately became a major topic of conversation, with one user exclaiming, “Seriously?! That’s 380 messages every day!” Another commenter jokingly said they hadn’t sent nearly that many messages, even as a long-time viewer since the early days of Justin.tv.
With that, LSF’s mod team announced the moderator had been removed.
The Reddit post became very popular quickly, gaining thousands of upvotes and many comments. Users praised the moderators for looking into the issue, and many pointed to the fact that the removed moderator had sent 6,464 messages as evidence of a potential bias.
The controversy started when a clip from an ExtraEmily stream appeared online, seemingly showing a tab for a website called “ViewBot.ai.” This led to discussions on Reddit and other social media platforms about whether the streamer was using a service to artificially inflate their viewer numbers. As of now, ExtraEmily hasn’t spoken publicly about these accusations.
