Anonymous YouTuber’s $3M Ferrari F40 ruined in highway hit-and-run accident

A YouTube personality known as “Supercar Ron,” who specializes in cars and keeps his identity hidden, has announced a reward following an incident where his Ferrari F40, worth $3 million, was struck by a semi truck while it was traveling along the highway.

Although Supercar Ron only has around 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, he has managed to build a substantial fanbase due to maintaining anonymity throughout his video content.

Rather than revealing his real self, Ron opts for humorous facial hair styles like beards and mustaches when making videos about his unique collection of rare automobiles, ensuring that the spotlight remains on the vehicles rather than him personally.

On YouTube, you’ll find him, but it’s Tace Anderson on TikTok who’s been contracted to cruise around in Ron’s vehicles and create brief videos showcasing them.

On YouTube, you can still see him, however, for TikTok content, it’s Tace Anderson who has been employed to drive Ron’s cars and produce short clips about each one.

On that particular Sunday, June 29th, unfortunately, Tace’s car journey took an unfortunate turn when a semi-truck crashed into one of his most prized automobiles.

$3 million Ferrari F40 totalled by “long lug nuts”

Let me tell you, one surefire way to ruin your evening is if a semi-truck clips you while you’re driving an F40, as I unfortunately discovered in a video that went viral on TikTok.

Just now, something unexpected occurred while I was driving. A large semi truck came dangerously close to my vehicle, causing it to collide with my side. It pushed me off the road and returned to its lane. Incredulous as I am, I can hardly believe this happened!

Additionally, Ron posted on Instagram, proposing a reward for anyone who assists in locating the tractor-trailer that collided with his vehicle.

“We need help tracking this person down,” he said in the post.

It’s crucial to bring hit-and-run drivers to justice. If you recognize the offender or were in the vicinity of southbound I-15 around 10 pm, either near north Orem or Lindon, and have dashboard camera footage, kindly share it with us if available. Also, any businesses nearby that may have a vantage point of southbound I-15 and have security footage, please inform us. A reward is being offered for finding the perpetrator.

In November 2024, Ron, the proud owner, acquired a stunning supercar which turned out to be a $3M Ferrari. He shared an exciting tour of this luxurious vehicle with his followers via a YouTube video.

After that, they’ve both produced multiple videos about it, with one being posted on TikTok only three days prior to the incident.

Last April, I was buzzing when I became a trending topic on social media. It all started when my brand-new Ferrari went up in flames, just an hour after I splurged on this luxury vehicle.
