Anna Faris Would Return to the ‘Scary Movie’ Franchise Under Two Conditions: ‘Money’ and Regina Hall

As a huge fan of the “Scary Movie” franchise and a supporter of Anna Faris’ acting career, I couldn’t be more excited to hear that she is open to reprising her iconic role as Cindy Campbell under the right conditions. In her interview with People, Anna emphasized the importance of money, but most importantly, her longing to work alongside her former co-star and friend, Regina Hall.

If certain requirements are fulfilled, Anna Faris will once again take on the character of Cindy Campbell in the “Scary Movie” series.

During an interview with People, Farris was questioned about her potential involvement in a new installment of the franchise. Her response was clear and straightforward: “Money would certainly be a significant factor for me to consider,” she said.

She went on to say that she’d “love to reprise her role” if she could star alongside her former “Scary Movie” co-star, Regina Hall, who played Brenda in the horror parody film series.

“I really enjoy collaborating with Regina and can’t get enough of her. Her presence makes me laugh non-stop. If I could work with anyone, it would be Regina Hall, above all else – and yes, the compensation is important too, but my top priority is working with Regina.”

Faris and Hall were the leading actors in the initial four parts of the comedy series “Scary Movie.” Although they had great on-screen rapport, neither Faris nor Hall featured in “Scary Movie 5,” released in 2013, which instead starred Simon Rex and Ashley Tisdale. In April that year, Paramount and Miramax declared their intention to restart the franchise, with Neal H. Moritz from “Fast and Furious” being chosen to revive it.

Faris reminisced about her early success with “Scary Movie” in 2000, sharing that she honed her best comedic skills during the filming process.

She shared with People that those four movies significantly influenced her life’s learning process. They taught me how to handle props, fall convincingly, and get hit on the head for the camera. I also learned how to hold Chiclets in my mouth and spit them out at the right moment during filming.

Faris acts together with Dave Bautista in the action-comedy “My Spy: The Eternal City,” directed by Peter Segal, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
