JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans can enjoy a special Race Start Celebration, followed by a presentation on the One Piece Elbaf Arc, which will conclude the Red Stage events for the day.
I saw a lot of activity at AnimeJapan 2026! On March 28th, the Green Stage hosted a presentation, while Black Torch and Psyren were really popular over at the White Stage. Netflix also had a big presence on the Blue Stage, attracting a lot of attention. That same day, the AnimeJapan 2026 Creator Award Ceremony wrapped things up on the Blue Stage around 4:30 p.m. Japanese Standard Time.
On Sunday, the White Stage will host panels about Kindergarten Wars, You and I Are Polar Opposites, and Suikoden: The Anime. Meanwhile, the Red Stage will be dedicated to Re:ZERO. The Blue Stage will have fewer panels, including discussions on series like Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly, Sparks of Tomorrow, and Season 2 of The Angel Next Door Spils Me Rotten.
On Sunday, the Green Stage will feature panels for several popular anime series, including The Eminence in Shadow, The Ramparts of Ice, Marriagetoxin, and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend. The day will conclude with a highly anticipated panel focused on the final installment of the hit science-fantasy series.
As a huge anime fan, I’ve been following AnimeJapan since it started back in 2014, and it’s become a massive event! It’s put on by a dedicated team – the AnimeJapan Executive Committee – and gets great support from the anime and manga industries. Every year, it draws incredible crowds – though understandably, things were different in 2020 and 2021 when they had to cancel the in-person show and move everything online because of the pandemic. But even then, it was clear they were determined to keep the spirit of AnimeJapan alive!
AnimeJapan 2026 will take place on March 28th and 29th at Tokyo Big Sight. Information about how to watch live streams of events will be shared soon. You can find the complete schedule in English on the official AnimeJapan 2026 website.
