‘Andor’ Season 2 Trailer: Diego Luna’s Rebellion Explodes as Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk Join the Fight

Diego Luna’s rebellion intensifies in the trailer for Season 2 of “Andor.”

Beginning April 22, you’ll be able to watch the “Star Wars” series that precedes the 2016 movie “Rogue One” on Disney+.

The first series of the show, written and produced by Tony Gilroy, who also collaborated on “Rogue One”, unfolds over approximately a year in the life of Cassian Andor (played by Luna). We see his transition from a petty crook to someone ready to battle the Galactic Empire, as the early stages of the Rebel Alliance start taking shape.

In this production, Gilroy collaborates with Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luna, Luke Hull, and John Gilroy. The first three episodes were penned by Tony Gilroy, followed by Beau Willimon for episodes 4 to 6, Dan Gilroy for episodes 7 to 9, and Tom Bissell for episodes 10 to 12. Directing duties for the series are handled by Ariel Kleiman from episodes 1 to 6, Janus Metz from episodes 7 to 9, and Alonso Ruizpalacios for episodes 10 to 12.
