Twitch streamer Amouranth and her husband recently provided details about the home invasion they experienced, where her husband shot one of the people who broke in.
In March 2025, three masked gunmen broke into Amouranth’s house and attempted to steal her cryptocurrency by forcing her to give them access to her digital wallets.
The streamer suffered a severe beating but managed to lead the people breaking in to another area of the house, where her husband, Nick Lee, was prepared with a gun. He shot twice, hitting one of the intruders and causing all of them to flee.
Police quickly started an investigation and, after almost two weeks, announced the arrest of a group of teenagers—between 16 and 19 years old—linked to the event. The teens were charged with serious kidnapping and robbery involving a weapon.
Newly released video from TopMob shows armed thieves breaking into Amouranth’s home and demanding money and cryptocurrency. The footage captures the moment they entered her room and made their demands.

Nick Lee recently shared updates on the case, stating that the people accused of breaking in could face significant prison sentences if convicted.
Alleged Amouranth robbers face 99 years after home invasion
On the ‘whatever’ podcast, Nick said the police caught all the suspects, and they will soon be facing trial.
According to Lee, the getaway driver is facing charges and caused a major accident, seemingly betraying the robbers he was working with.
“They’re facing, just to start, 5-to-99 in Texas. Five to 99 years.”

In Texas, both aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery can result in a sentence of up to 99 years in prison, as well as a $10,000 fine.
Lee further added that the heat of the moment, the suspects are lucky they didn’t get killed.
I normally would have just caught the spider and let it go, but in that situation, I probably would have reacted differently.
This isn’t the first time a streamer has been involved in a frightening incident that’s made the news. Just earlier this year, a streamer in Korea died, and a viewer admitted to the murder after having donated a significant amount of money – $70,000.
