The Ryzen 9 9900X is reportedly outperforming the Intel Core i9 14900K according to AMD, offering approximately 11% more performance in Cyberpunk 2077 and a total productivity boost of around 21%. However, it’s difficult to gauge the significance of these figures without knowing the price. The Ryzen 9 9900X is expected to be priced similarly to the Intel Core i9 14900K, which retails for approximately $620.
The anticipated Ryzen 7 9700X may surpass the current high-performing Ryzen 7 5800X3D in terms of gaming capabilities. At present, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is available for purchase at Amazon for a reduced price of $339 (previously $449). With the Ryzen 9000 Series on the horizon, this could be an opportune moment to enhance your gaming setup by upgrading.
