Amazon Music Drama ‘The Runarounds’ From ‘Outer Banks’ Creator Adds Six to Cast

As a seasoned movie buff with a penchant for young adult dramas, I can hardly contain my excitement about “The Runarounds.” The addition of such a talented and diverse cast to this series is truly music to my ears!

“The television drama ‘Runarounds’, loosely based on a real band of the same name, has brought six new main actors into its lineup. These include Brooklyn Decker, Maximo Salas, Marley Aliah, Hayes MacArthur, Mark Wystrach and Shea Pritchard. The series, which is being developed by Jonas Pate, creator of ‘Outer Banks’, and produced by Skydance Television, will feature these talented individuals.”

The show features William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Golliher from a genuine band in addition to the creator’s daughter Lilah Pate and Kelley Pereira.

According to the show’s description: “The story revolves around a close-knit group of young individuals from diverse backgrounds who unite to create a rock band following their high school graduation. Amidst the scenic town of Wilmington, North Carolina, The Runarounds must decide whether to yield to adult responsibilities or gamble everything in an attempt to be the most exceptional band ever.”

“The Runarounds” is a production by David Wilcox, overseen by Pate, Wilcox, Joon Yun, Josh Pate, Shannon Burke, Lisa Mae Fincannon, and Scott Lambert. This television show is also produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television.”

Decker, known for shows like “Grace & Frankie,” is managed by Authentic Talent and Literary Management, Gersh, and Schreck Rose agencies. On the other hand, Salas, who was in Season 4 of “Stranger Things” and “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies,” is represented by Innovative Artist Agency and 11:11 Entertainment.

Aliah has featured in movies such as “The Devil’s Stomping Ground” and “Remember Yesterday”. She is represented by J Pervis Talent Agency and Luber Roklin Entertainment. On the other hand, MacArthur, who will be acting alongside Jack Black in the upcoming Paramount film “Dear Santa”, is managed by Innovative Artists and Todd Rubenstein.

Wystrach has appeared in “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and more. He is repped by UTA and Range Media Partners. Pritchard, who has also appeared on Amazon’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” is repped by KU Talent Agency and Principal Entertainment Los Angeles.
