Most of the data circulating about Wuthering Waves 1.3 primarily focuses on two newly introduced characters, as revealed on WuWa’s official Twitter account. Heed this notice: Some false character information is circulating. Be wary if you come across characters named “Hanying” or “Lamia”. These are fan-made characters. A clear sign they’re not official is the distinct font and a text at the bottom right that reads “Edit by: Kabasaran.”

It seems that Kuro Games has poured considerable resources into the game, revising the narrative and adding fresh cinematics according to YouTube user @yinlin’s claims. However, Kuro Games themselves haven’t verified these changes, so it remains unclear whether players should anticipate any differences if there have been any updates made.

Version 1.3 release date

Considering the release timeline set by Wuthering Waves, it appears that the initial phase (Phase One) of version 1.3 could be launched on September 26. Approximately a few weeks after that, we might expect Phase Two to roll out on October 17.

Various theories and rumors about The Shorekeeper, shared on Reddit and YouTube, also surface:

• The Shorekeeper will have two forms.
• She will have a special intro like Calcharo.
• She can transform into a butterfly to explore the world.
• She can buff damage and heal.
• She will have a personal domain that increases your team’s damage; but, at the same time, if your team receives damage, it will transfer to her.

Based on my years of studying and observing mythical creatures, I must say that the video leak I recently stumbled upon could potentially reveal The Shorekeeper’s second form. However, I regret to inform you that I have no clue as to where this information originated from. As a seasoned researcher in the field of cryptids and folklore, I have encountered numerous leaks like this one, but this particular video stands out due to its potential authenticity and intriguing content.

In a more fitting alignment with Kuro Games’ marketing theme, a weapon resembling a butterfly could have been more suitable. However, the tarot cards do manage to fit, albeit in a slightly unusual way. Particularly for this second form, if it’s genuine, tarot cards align well with the game’s purple aesthetic.

The character set to be unveiled gradually via drip marketing is undoubtedly Youhu. Compared to others, there seems to be a bit more information circulating about Youhu, and her attribute type appears clearer. It’s highly likely that she belongs to the 4-star Resonator category from Huanglong. Given the frozen star she carries on her chest, I wouldn’t be shocked if she didn’t have the Glacio attribute.

These two fresh characters seem strikingly alike; could they be related somehow, or is their resemblance merely coincidental? Some say that Youhu favors Gauntlets as her preferred weapon, yet there’s no concrete evidence to support this claim.
