Jagex has introduced a brand new survival cooperative game titled Dragonwilds, which is set within the same world as both RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape. Consequently, this game shares a comparable system of skills and progression with its popular MMO counterparts.
Launched on Steam on April 15th, Dragonwilds currently offers nine skills for shaping your character’s interactions within the game. The developers at Jagex plan to add more skills and further develop existing ones in upcoming updates.
In the Early Access version of this game, the number of unlocks for each skill can be quite unpredictable, with some skills still lacking any unlocks at present. Nonetheless, there’s lots of incentive to start earning experience in the world of Ashenfall – you’ll need all these abilities if you aspire to stand a chance against the Dragon Queen’s offspring.
All skills & unlocks
As a dedicated fan, let me share with you all the skills and their corresponding rewards that you can find below. Keep in mind that Dragonwilds offers both significant and minor incentives for leveling up each skill. For instance, the Attack skill, which involves melee combat, grants a reduction of 1% on Attack Stamina Cost with every new ability or upgrade earned at each level.
In Early Access, although the ultimate limit for each skill is set at 99, all skills are currently restricted to a maximum of 40. It’s unclear whether experience points earned beyond level 40 will eventually increase the caps when they are raised, or if further XP acquisition will be blocked once you reach this temporary limit.
Attack
In this area, you’ll find the Attack proficiency, which, as you might guess, encompasses combat techniques for up-close, hand-to-hand fighting. Here, you’ll also discover defensive abilities, magical enhancements for weapons that manipulate elements, and recipes to boost your physical power.
Receive -1% Attack Stamina cost for every Attack level not listed below.

Woodcutting
As a passionate enthusiast, I find woodcutting to be an essential harvesting skill, much like mining. The resources gathered from this skill, such as wood and timber, play a pivotal role in enhancing other skills. These materials can be refined into crucial components for weapons and construction projects. The major advancements in woodcutting technology not only make tree felling more efficient but also increase the rewards significantly, making it an exciting and rewarding activity.
