ARC Raiders launched on October 30th and quickly became both a critical and commercial hit. However, the game experienced some initial server issues due to a large number of players joining on Sunday. While the developers at Embark Studios successfully fixed the problem, they went above and beyond by offering an official apology and a special gift to players as a thank you.
As stated in the devs’ post on X:
Thanks for bearing with us while our servers experienced a brief issue on Sunday. It seems something caused a temporary disruption, and we’ve taken steps to prevent it from happening again.
As a token of our thanks, we’re sending 500 Raider Tokens to all Raiders who logged in on Sunday.
Players who experienced issues during the recent server instability received $5 worth of in-game currency as a thank you. This currency can be used to buy cosmetic items to customize their characters.
Just a heads-up: players who participated in the Server Slam tests should now have a Server Slammer backpack waiting for them. Check your inboxes for a message with instructions on how to claim it.
