However, it’s important to note that acquiring Shards is also possible, but in limited quantities, mainly from various sources.

Memory Crystal Shard Locations In Amphoreus

Experiencing new activities in Okhema initially guarantees finding at least one Memory Crystal Shard. Although many locations offer a single opportunity to collect Shard pieces, there’s a specific spot providing a steady supply of them weekly. Extra Shards discovered elsewhere are limited to a single acquisition.

Below is a full list of locations you can visit to get those Shards.

Strange Crystal

Obtain Shards from the Endless Well. Engage with the Mysterious Crystal found in Aglaea’s bathroom chamber within the Hall of Respite, which was provided to you and Dan Heng during the storyline. This Shard rewards you with 10 Memory Crystal Shards each week as soon as you touch it. Don’t forget to visit before the servers reset on Monday for some additional in-game currency.

As a gamer, I’ve come across this too as one of the City’s Pieces of Memories Past. However, other pieces won’t net you any additional Shards in return.

Interacting With Chrysos Heirs And Important NPCs

After completing the Trailblaze Missions, you’ll find the key characters in Amphoreus scattered throughout the city. Interacting with them will provide you with some simple Shards. Here are their locations within Okhema:

1. Character 1: You can find this character near the Central Plaza.
2. Character 2: This character hangs out by the Market Square.
3. Character 3: Look for this character at the East Gate of the city.
4. Character 4: This character can be found in the Western District, around the Library.
5. Character 5: Lastly, you’ll find this character in the Northern District, close to the Park.

  • Aglaea: Directly in front of the Hero’s Bath teleport.
  • Castorice: In the hall behind the Hall of Respite teleport, looking at the flowers.
  • Mydei: Climb through the buildings in front of the Marmoreal Market teleport (like you did in the main story). Mydei will be at the summit, next to where you can find a chest.
  • Tribbie: Next to the Garden of Life teleport. Head straight ahead to meet her. Speaking with her “sisters” won’t give you extra Shards.

Instead of exploring all conversation possibilities with the Heirs, simply talking to them and then swiftly ending the discussion will reward you with the Shard.

Additionally, you can acquire some Shards not just from the typical shop interface, but also by interacting with merchants in Okhema and making purchases through dialogue. This method won’t exceed 12,000 Credits, regardless of your choice to always select the priciest options.

The vendors are:

  • Demetria: At the Marmoreal Market, to the left after you teleport. Choose “I’d like to check out the fresh fruits here” and pick any of the fruits.
  • Kyros: Right in front of the Marmoreal Market teleport, next to Demetria. Choose “What foreign dishes do you have on the menu?” as those are the cheapest.
  • Xenia: Teleport to Overflowing Bath and turn back through the water to find her. After speaking with her once, choose “I want to buy something.” Both available options cost 10.000 Credits.

Before you get a chance to purchase her fruit, Demetria will initially activate the Disjointed Memories quest first.

In conclusion, you have an opportunity to encounter Baccus personally at the Court of Seasons’ teleportation site. Your initial drink there grants you a Piece of Memory Crystal Shard. Further sips will merely earn you accomplishments.

Adventure Missions

Each mission found within the Amphoreus’ Annals section awards the player with a pair of Memory Crystal Shards. These missions offer additional insights about the planet and occasionally unveil secret Non-Player Characters scattered across the zones.

As of 3.0, the following missions will give you Memory Crystal Shards:

  • Interacting with the Water Lyre in the Bath House: Teleport to the Hall of Respite and walk back to the hall before your room, next to where Castorice can be found. The Lyre will be waiting for you.
  • Receiving a Blessing from the basins: Directly right of Damionis, close to the Okhema Market scroll.
  • Completing a Verax Leo’s quiz (outside of the Main Story): Teleport to the Court of Seasons and head straight forward. The answer is ‘A pillow.’
  • Finding a Living Flames of Georios: In the same room as the Water Lyre.
  • Breaking a decoration in Okhema: Attack the plate decoration next to the stairs. After speaking with an NPC, fix the plate to get the Shard.
  • Interacting with a Holy Candle: Directly behind Damionis, close to the benches.

To acquire just one instance of these objectives within Okhema is sufficient for obtaining a Shard, but uncovering all of them consistently leads to earning an additional accomplishment.

How To Use Memory Crystal Shards

You can activate your Memory Crystal Fragments by conversing with the Garmentmaker within any Amphoreus region. In return, they will disclose the whereabouts of a missing Nymph within the present zone, for the cost of one Nymph per shard. This is beneficial when you’re short on just a few of them and prefer not to search every potential location.

Primarily, these items are sold at the “Janus’ Steed” near the “Court of Seasons teleport”. Here you’ll discover special playable Records for the “Astral Express”, exclusive food recipes, among other unique finds. However, once purchased, they won’t be replenished again.

Additionally, there are enigmatic Gift boxes available for purchase. These purchases will grant you access to fresh decorations for your Sanctuary Resting Room.
