As a seasoned CoD Zombies aficionado with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that Black Ops 6 Zombies has raised the bar yet again! The return of fan-favorites like Aether Shroud and Frenzied Guard, coupled with new additions such as Dark Flare, keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ll find a return to the beloved round-based gaming experience, enhanced with both familiar and novel elements. Your arsenal isn’t just limited to primary and secondary weapons; field upgrades and equipment are crucial components of your battle strategy as well.
All Field Upgrades in Black Ops 6 Zombies
As a gamer, I get to wield some pretty cool tools out in the field called Field Upgrades. These bad boys recharge as I take down hordes of zombies, and when they’re ready to go, I can unleash a powerful attack on my enemies. Here are all the Field Upgrades at my disposal in Black Ops 6 Zombies:
- Aether Shroud: Phase into the Dark Aether and become hidden from the enemy for a short while.
- Frenzied Guard: Repair armor instantly and force all nearby enemies to attack you. During this time, each kill repairs a part of your armor.
- Healing Aura: Instantly revive downed teammates and heal everyone including yourself to full health.
- Energy Mine: A mine that detonates periodically dealing lethal damage around you.
- Dark Flare: A beam that can penetrate through everything and deals lethal shadow damage.
For quite some time now, the initial four field upgrades have been a staple in Call of Duty Zombies. Among these, Healing Aura is an exceptional support asset, with at least one team member needing to carry it. Energy Mine, on the other hand, serves as a remarkable defensive item. I’m looking forward to deploying the fresh addition, Dark Flare, as it can be incredibly beneficial during overwhelming attacks. In Black Ops 6 Zombies, there’s a new Augment feature that allows you to enhance your field upgrades for increased effectiveness. Additionally, players now have the flexibility to swap field upgrades at any point during the game directly from the menu.
All Equipment in Black Ops 6 Zombies
In this game, you can select tactical and destructive items for your initial setup, which you’ll use throughout the match from the start. Additionally, should you choose to create new gear during the game, simply head over to the Crafting Table and utilize the Salvage that zombies have dropped after they were defeated.
All Tacticals in Black Ops 6 Zombies
- Concussion: Slow the enemy’s movement.
- Stim Shot: Heal yourself and refresh tactical sprint.
- Smoke: Deploy a smoke screen.
- Decoy Grenade: Attract zombies for a short while.
- Shock Charge: A throwable that sticks to surfaces and stuns enemies.
- Cymbal Monkey: Attract zombies for a short duration before detonating.
- LT53 Kazimir: Creates a black hole that pulls in and kills enemies.
Among these tools, I’ll be utilizing the Decoy Grenade, the Cymbal Monkey, and the LT53 Kazimir in my fight against zombies. The Decoy Grenade is useful for distracting enemies from your location. However, the Cymbal Monkey and LT53 Kazimir are particularly effective at eliminating them altogether.
All Lethals in Black Ops 6 Zombies
- Frag: Fragmentation grenade that can be cooked.
- Sticky: Timed grenade that sticks onto surfaces.
- Molotov: Incendiary weapon that explodes on impact leaving flame residue.
- C4: Sticky explosive that can be detonated remotely.
- Combat Axe: Throwable axe that can one-hit kill enemies.
- Impact Grenade: Grenade that explodes on impact.
- Thermo Grenade: This grenade creates a flammable cloud that ignites and explodes after a while.
- Blast Trap: A plantable device that detonates when enemies are in proximity.
Lethals can all be useful, but the ones that stand out here are Sticky Grenade, Combat Axe, and Impact Grenade. I’ll lean toward the Combat Axe more if it happens to be a retrievable item.
All Support Equipment in Black Ops 6 Zombies
- Self-Revive: Revive yourself when downed.
- ARC-XD: RC car that explodes to emit small Aether Blasts.
- Sentry Turret: Automated turret that scans for and shoots down nearby threats.
- Mutant Injection: Transform yourself into a Mangler for a short while.
Work together with your team members to bring various equipment, as you never know when it might be useful. Each player should definitely have a self-resurrection kit on hand, unless one of you has the Healing Aura area enhancement instead.
