As a seasoned gamer with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of updates and events in Brawl Stars. The latest demon event has certainly piqued my interest, not just because of the new abilities on offer, but also due to the challenge of unlocking them all.
The latest Brawl Stars demon event offers 12 different Angel and Demon Abilities players can get throughout the season via Angelic or Demonic Starr Drops. These abilities provide players with different advantages, which they can use in modes with the Angels vs. Demons modifier. However, not everybody knows how to unlock them. Therefore, we created a guide on how to get all Angel and Demon Abilities in Brawl Stars.
All Angel & Demon Abilities in Brawl Stars
Angel Abilities:
- Radiant Touch – Damaging enemies creates a healing aura, which heals more per Angel Teammate
- Ascension – Grants movement speed, increased with each Angel Teammate
- Blessed Barrier – Dealing Damage grants you a shield that grows stronger by dealing more damage
- Rebirth – Instead of defeat, you knock back enemies and become invulnerable briefly
- Smite – Fire beams of light that damage and slow enemies
- Seraphim – Spawns a healing Angelic Ally when your teammate is defeated. The ally becomes stronger if the downed teammate was an angel.
Demon Abilities:
- Siphon – Damaging enemies creates energy that heals you and your demon teammates
- Conjuring Chaos – Summon Imps when you defeat an enemy. The more demon teammates you have means more Imps you summon
- Fury – Damaging enemies or taking damage increases player movement speed
- Revengeance – Deal massive damage to enemies around you when defeated
- Demonfire – Leave a trail of fire behind you that damages enemies
- Gluttony – Spawns a Power Cube each time you defeat an enemy
To utilize a particular ability, it’s essential that you belong to the faction associated with that power. For instance, if you wish to wield Radiant Touch, you should be on the side of Angels. Similarly, to invoke Conjuring Chaos, you must be part of the Demon faction.
Moreover, these skills are operable exclusively on maps that carry an Angels and Demons overlay. They can be employed in novel gameplay modes such as Spirit Wars or Soul Collector. Furthermore, other modes including Showdown might feature this modifier as well, so pay attention for the Angels vs. Demons emblem on each match category.
How Do You Get Angel & Demon Abilities in Brawl Stars?
For a brief period, players have the chance to acquire temporary Angel and Demon abilities by gathering Angelic or Demonic Starr Scatterings. To find out exactly how many of these scatters are needed for the next ability, look up the Codex of Doom. These scatters can be obtained through various means:
- Earning daily victories (1 Drop awarded at one, four, and eight wins)
- Shop Offers (Every player receives 1 free Angelic Drop and 1 free Demonic Drop during the event)
- *Contest Rewards
As a gamer, here’s how I would rephrase it: During this exciting tournament, everyone gets a chance to join in the thrilling Angels vs. Demons battles within Brawl Stars. Simply logging in each day grants you five tickets to enter these contests (each match costs one ticket). Each victory nets you a trophy and the more trophies you collect, the higher your chances of receiving a reward.
For example, the Contest I rewards offer 20 Starr Drops to the player who ranks first. The lower you rank, the less Starr Drops you receive. So make sure to compete in the contest to earn more Starr Drops, and therefore, more rewards. At the end of the contest, you can decide whether or not you want to receive Angelic or Demonic Starr Drops.
During this event, any Starr Drops you acquire through Daily Wins will be exclusively for the faction you’re currently aligned with. Each day, you’ll be randomly assigned to a team by flipping a coin. If you land on the Angel team, you can only accumulate Angelic Starr Drops from victories.
Luckily, players will enjoy the freedom to select their preferred team for each day during this event, using Free Will. Each weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to pick the team that suits you best. In case you’ve unlocked all Angelic Abilities but fancy trying out Demonic ones, you can switch teams over the weekend.
Additionally, players have an opportunity to claim two complimentary Starr Drops, one Angelic and one Demonic, directly from the shop during this special event. For those who prefer, there are also Value Packs available for purchase that provide additional Starr Drops in exchange for Gems. However, we advise saving your Gems for the Hypercharge Abilities if you’d like, but ultimately, it’s up to you how you decide to spend them.
As a fellow gamer, here’s my take on it:
