‘All American’ Sets Season 7 Premiere Date; CW Midseason Lineup Also Includes Leighton Meester’s ‘Good Cop/Bad Cop’ and ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us’

As a devoted cinephile who has spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant world of television, I can hardly contain my excitement at the CW’s midseason schedule announcement for 2025! With the return of “All American” for its seventh season, it seems that the network is eager to keep me company as I continue my never-ending quest for quality storytelling.

“All American” will return to the CW for its seventh season on Jan. 29.

That night serves as a preview for the start of Season 7, airing again on Monday, February 3. This date will continue as the show’s regular broadcast time throughout the rest of the season. The announcement was made during the CW’s release of their midseason schedule for 2025, where “All American” is a significant part of the CW’s lineup before their programming shifts under Nexstar ownership.

Other shows debuting in the network’s midseason schedule include “Good Cop/Bad Cop,” a new comedy-drama starring Leighton Meester, Clancy Brown, and Luke Cook, airing from February 19th; and “Wild Cards,” which resumes its second season on February 5th.

Moving forward, the main focus will be on reality shows. Starting January 23rd, “Police 24/7” and “Crime Nation” are set to reappear. The magic-themed series, “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and “Masters of Illustion”, will air the following day. In the sports section, “Inside the NFL” and NASCAR Xfinity Series episodes from Daytona International Speedway will make their debut on the CW, along with a documentary about boxer Joe Frazier. Additionally, there will be documentaries about actors Luke Perry and Raquel Welch, as well as one exploring the music era of the ’90s boy band scene.
