The latest season of Daredevil: Born Again has concluded, and it features the return of several characters from the original Netflix Daredevil series. Before Charlie Cox reprised his role as Daredevil in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, he starred in three seasons of the critically acclaimed Daredevil on Netflix, often considered the best of the Marvel’s The Defenders universe shows.

At first, Marvel intended to use fewer actors from the older, street-level Marvel TV shows in the new Daredevil: Born Again series. 4. Brett Mahoney

Brett Mahoney, played by Royce Johnson, was a popular and likable police officer in the Netflix series featuring Daredevil and The Defenders. He’s since risen through the ranks to become chief of detectives. In this new role, he uses his authority to arrange a secret meeting between Karen Page and Daredevil, and also assists in handling the Anti-Vigilante Task Force during the season’s final episode.

In the fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, flashbacks showed how Wesley originally connected Kingpin with his new assistant, Buck. These scenes revealed that Wesley and Buck had a history together, and Wesley was responsible for bringing Buck on as Kingpin’s hitman.

A major draw for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again was the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. She appeared in the last three episodes, with her role becoming increasingly important.
