In a live-action format, Alex Garland is set to helm the production of the “Elden Ring” movie, which is being developed by A24 and Bandai Namco.
Film director, Garland, fresh off his work on “Warfare” for A24, is set to pen the upcoming film inspired by George R.R. Martin’s mythical tale. Previous whispers suggested Garland’s involvement with this project. The production of “Elden Ring” will be a collaboration between Peter Rice, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich from DNA Productions, as well as Martin and Vince Gerardis.
The 2022 action role-playing video game initially released was helmed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with Yui Tanimura serving as co-director. Immersed in a genuine dark fantasy universe, “Elden Ring” is an epic tale of fantasy, boasting expansive landscapes and ominous dungeons. Crafted by FromSoftware and distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, this game has sold over 30 million copies globally since its debut.
Following its debut, “Elden Ring” triumphed in a grand manner at the 2022 Game Awards, earning accolades as game of the year, best game direction, and best role-playing game.
