As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined the team for “Captivated,” an intriguing mob thriller graced by the talents of Al Pacino and Katie Holmes. This project aims to offer a fresh perspective on the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, steering away from the narrative presented in Ridley Scott’s “All the Money in the World.” Production for this captivating film is set to commence in the enchanting cityscape of Rome later this month. Can’t wait to see it unfold on the big screen!
The film titled ‘Enthralled,’ helmed by Dito Montiel (‘A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints,’ ‘Riff Raff’), chronicles the 1973 abduction of Getty III and the unanticipated relationship that forms between Saro Mammoliti, a powerful Calabrian mob boss (portrayed by Al Pacino in his mature role), and Gail Getty, the mother of Getty III, to be portrayed by Emma Holmes.
According to the summary, these characters are “two individuals hailing from utterly distinct realms, brought close by a traumatic event that will indelibly mark their destinies.” As they navigate through emotional turmoil and hidden attraction, their relationship unfolds like an intriguing game of chess, significantly contributing to the enigma surrounding the Getty kidnapping.
It’s been reported that Toby Kebbell, originally cast as the younger Mammoliti, is no longer part of the project titled “Captivated”. Sources suggest that Meadow Walker and Dermot Mulroney could be negotiating to join the film in undisclosed roles.

Back in 2017, he shared with EbMaster that he’s been working diligently on a project for quite some time now. His motivation stems from his dissatisfaction with how his family was depicted in “All the Money in the World,” and he aims to present their perspective of the story.
