On the popular social media platform TikTok, user Stephanie Riche (@she.stewards) shared a video that rapidly gained 3.2 million views within just a few days. The video depicted her unfortunate experience with an Airbnb rental, which unexpectedly took a dramatic turn.
In the one-minute video, you’ll notice Riche grasping a large folder crammed with instructions that the host had prepared earlier. Then, the camera sweeps across the kitchen cupboards, each securely fastened with zip ties, denoting they are off-limits.
Furthermore, the host had securely fastened appliances like the refrigerator with zip ties, signaling to the audience that everything within the home was immovable or inaccessible. Also, certain pieces of furniture were carefully sealed, ensuring they couldn’t be accessed.
