Ahsoka Tano Returns in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy on Disney+!

Star Wars fans won’t have to wait long for more Ahsoka Tano on Disney+. 

In addition to Season 2 of Ahsoka , Ahsoka Tano’s comeback isn’t limited to just Disney+ shows. The iconic Clone Wars heroine is set to appear in a four-part prequel series titled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, premiering on September 19. What makes this series special is that it presents an older Ahsoka Tano, but in a way that’s quite different from what we’re used to.

At Star Wars Celebration 2025, Ashley Eckstein, the original voice actress of Ahsoka, declared that she would be taking on the role again for LEGO’s “Pieces of the Past,” after she had reprised her character in “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” back in 2022.

In the LEGO Star Wars series titled “Pieces of the Past”, Ahsoka won’t resemble her animated appearances from “Clone Wars” or “Star Wars Rebels”. Instead, the upcoming chapter in “Rebuild the Galaxy” will introduce a LEGO BrickHeadz version of the beloved character.

At Star Wars Celebration, with a LEGO BrickHeadz Ahsoka in tow, Ashley Eckstein openly expressed her eagerness about reprising her role, stating, “I’ve missed her dearly” and referred to the chance as, “a dream realized.

Upon learning that I’d be reprising the role of Ahsoka, tears welled up. It feels like an eternity since I last played her. And it’s not just Ahsoka I’ve missed, but all of you as well. This opportunity has been a long-cherished dream. Let me tell you, I am a big LEGO enthusiast and own numerous Ahsoka BrickHeadz figures. Now, I get to give her voice!

Though Ahsoka Tano appears differently as a BrickHeadz character in the Disney+ show, Eckstein reassured fans that “Pieces of the Past” provides an incredibly accurate portrayal of Ahsoka, explaining:

The last time I stood here, I shared that Ahsoka resides within us all, and we’ve truly embraced her journey as our own. We’ve grown up with Star Wars, witnessing its magic through Ahsoka’s perspective… and in a sense, we’ve collaborated to write our unique story using Ahsoka as the protagonist. This tale belongs to each of us. The LEGO BrickHeadz version of Ahsoka is filled with emotion, and I believe you’ll resonate deeply with her character.

In 2024, the popular game LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy was followed up by a new title called Pieces of the Past. This sequel plans to delve further into the “what-if” scenarios in the Star Wars universe, thanks to a puzzling artifact that has disrupted the entire cosmos. Actress Ashley Eckstein will team up once more with Ahmed Best and Ben Schwartz, while Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit take on the lead roles as directors.

Will LEGO BrickHeadz Ahsoka Work for Star Wars Fans?

With filming underway for the second season of live-action Star Wars series “Ahsoka” featuring Rosario Dawson, animation enthusiasts can rejoice as they delve back into Eckstein’s initial portrayal of the beloved character within the lighthearted LEGO Star Wars Universe through the project “LEGO’s Rebuild the Galaxy“. Unlike many Star Wars ventures, this LEGO series thrives on creativity without the constraints of canon, offering a unique spin on the galaxy far, far away.

This scenario also presents a chance for Ahsoka to encounter characters that might be exclusive to the World Between Worlds, and it’s quite uncertain if these characters could appear even in such a context. The recently unveiled poster hints at the inclusion of Jaxxon from the Star Wars Marvel comics, and, as expected, Darth Jar Jar.

Although some fans might find a BrickHeadz interpretation of the Clone Wars apprentice slightly disconcerting, it remains to be seen if this character will fit seamlessly into the LEGO universe. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to discover the answer as the series is set to arrive in this galaxy in September.
