As a die-hard fan, I must share some intriguing insights I picked up from UFC President Dana White’s comments following his attendance at Kick star Adin Ross’s debut cage fight.
On April 11, Adin Ross transitioned from hosting boxing events under his brand, Risk Promotions, to organizing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fights within a cage.
After participating in the UFC 314 weigh-in ceremony in Miami, Dana White proceeded to Ross’s event, where notable fighters such as Kodiyakredd from The Island Boys were knocked out.
In a chat during a live stream, Ross confessed that organizing an MMA event proved to be more challenging than boxing, and sought guidance from the UFC chief. Dana White, in response, was frank without being overly critical, showing no immediate rejection of Ross’s ambitious endeavors.
Dana White says Adin Ross is doing better than UFC rivals
White promptly advised Ross to keep away from this matter, and it elicited a chuckle from the live-streamer at Kick.
He also mentioned that it’s not as simple as it seems, hinting at this fact according to Bloody Elbow, and then commented about the possibility of returning to boxing.
After holding his first MMA event, Adin Ross sought guidance from Dana White. However, Dana merely advised him to step away from the industry, finding it more challenging than it appears. 😢😢😢

Although he had issued an initial caution, later on at the event, White actually commended Ross, particularly in terms of his ability to compete effectively against other promotions.
Hey, your performance has been fantastic! The crowd is loving it, we’ve got over half a million viewers tuning in, and even Drake is raving about it. It seems like you’re nailing it!
Based on Dana’s statement, it seems that Ross had been outperforming all of the UFC’s primary rivals like the PFL in terms of sparking interest.
In comparison to all the other competitors we face, I can assure you that there’s significantly more happening here. A glance at our competition reveals that they have less going on compared to what we manage.

Hunter Campbell, UFC’s Chief Business Officer, supported Dana White’s claim that Ross’s event outperformed other companies in terms of viewership on Pay-Per-View (Kick).
He stated, “More people are watching you compared to what I believe any competitor of the UFC is attracting at this moment.
After some additional events, we’ll evaluate Adin’s Brand Risk Promotions in the combat sports arena, and at this point, it appears promising for the Kick streamer’s foray into this field.
