Adin Ross claims he will stop gambling Kick streams as they “hold him back”

As a long-time follower of Adin Ross‘s streaming journey, I must say his recent decision to quit gambling and focus more on content creation is a bold move. It’s fascinating to see how his perspective has evolved since the Twitch ban, moving from a vocal opponent of the anti-gambling rules to realizing their potential benefits for his career growth.

Adin Ross announced that he intends to quit placing bets and spending cash on slot machines. Instead, he plans to invest this money in enhancing the quality of his content.

Adin was quite well-liked within the Slots sections on Twitch (before his suspension) and Kick. Prior to Twitch imposing regulations to prohibit gambling-related streams, Adin openly expressed dissatisfaction with the newly established rules.

In the year 2022, it was said that Adin could potentially earn as much as a million dollars every week through one of his betting endorsements.

2023 saw Adin receiving a permanent ban on the Amazon-controlled platform. Since then, he has made Kick his permanent home, where he continues to stream gambling content, along with other types of content.

Currently, Adin claims he’s putting an end to those ideas, stating that he has better opportunities for profit using that money elsewhere.

During his October 16 livestream, he shared that he will revive “Brand Risk” and “Brand Risk Promotions.” Essentially, he feels it’s more meaningful for him to take action rather than just stay idle. He apologized, saying, “I’m sorry, guys, but that’s not who I am.

Is Adin merely blustering once more? Not at all. I’m entirely sincere about everything that’s happening, and you’ll realize it when I cease gambling. I apologize, but that’s the reality. I’m no longer going to be held back. I’m giving Taav [his manager] free rein; he can take back the warehouse, create sets, organize events, and essentially disrupt the game even more.

He questioned why he was investing a million dollars into a slot machine rather than using it for content creation. He explained that the potential return on investment, which could amount to millions, was his primary reason.

In another part of his live broadcast, Adin expressed that structuring his content around gambling has been limiting him. He mentioned that occasionally, he might stream gambling content, but he won’t continue to make it the main focus of his broadcasts moving forward.

A couple of months ago, I found myself echoing the advice of popular Twitch star, Kai Cenat. He had urged Adin to lay off gambling and consider revamping or reinventing his entire online community to weed out any troublemakers.

As an ardent follower, I’ve heard whispers in the gaming community suggesting that prominent Twitch streamers might have contracts with terms requiring them to stream gambling content, given that Kick is a subsidiary of the online casino Stake. However, these allegations remain unverified.
