In a recent announcement, the founder of No Jumper, Adam ‘Adam22’ Grandmaison, disclosed that the company will be implementing job cuts due to a significant drop in podcast earnings and ongoing legal issues.
On April 2nd, Adam22 openly acknowledged that No Jumper was facing significant financial hardships, implying potential staff reductions and restructuring were imminent.
It’s said that the company is estimated to be losing about 2 million dollars every month, leading to the dismissal of around 15 employees rather swiftly. Furthermore, No Jumper announced their plans to shut down their Melrose store and move to a more compact location in order to cut costs.
Adam22 linked the economic dip to several causes, notably a substantial drop in viewership and income sources on platforms such as YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook.
During worldwide lockdowns, the number of people viewing their content on YouTube significantly increased, often doubling or even tripling as compared to present-day viewership levels. Conversely, income generated from Snapchat and Facebook, which previously brought in at least six figures monthly, has taken a sharp downturn.
No Jumper lawsuit and Instagram deleted
Although there was a decrease in viewers, Adam22 mentioned that the company remained profitable until recently, approximately a couple of months ago, when they faced two significant setbacks: the removal of their Instagram account and a lawsuit.
Unexpectedly, Instagram removed No Jumper’s account after ten years, which was a substantial source of income from sponsored posts. Adam22 expressed his confusion by saying, “We don’t know why this happened at all. So far, we haven’t been successful in getting our account back, even though we’ve tried contacting what appears to be every Instagram recovery expert on the planet.
The legal troubles the company is facing, due to a lawsuit filed by an ex-employee named HarmoniousYuriy for alleged workplace misbehavior, are also negatively impacting its financial status.

Adam22 characterized the legal action as a “frivolous lawsuit instigated by a former staff member” and a “demand for money,” asserting that it has incurred the company considerable financial losses, amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The statement suggests that Adam22 and two other high-ranking individuals were not subjected to any consequences for the instances of harassment and discrimination experienced by HarmoniousYuriy and Rylee Garcia at No Jumper.
The lawsuit also alleges wrongful termination.
