This timeless comedy is finally coming to 4K Blu-ray on July 29. The Limited Edition Steelbook version was quickly snapped up at Amazon for $45, but you can still preorder it at Walmart for $33 while stocks last.
Ace Ventura was among the most hilarious films in its year, with Jim Carrey’s outrageous portrayal of the eccentric pet detective being a major draw. Despite some parts that might seem outdated nowadays, it remains side-splittingly funny due to an abundance of witty one-liners and a compelling mystery at heart. A follow-up was produced later on, where Ventura embarked on an adventure in Africa, much to the delight of numerous Buddhist monks. Unfortunately, this sequel hasn’t been released in 4K Blu-ray format yet. However, it is available on Blu-ray or as part of a combined Ace Ventura Blu-ray collection.

At its best, it’s a hollow attempt at making money, and there’s a possibility you might have to replace your Blu-ray player if you watch it due to the strong urge to throw it after viewing only a few minutes of this film.
