The main character, Doctor Jackson, is introduced as Max, the latest addition to the medical staff aboard a high-end cruise ship. Here, the crew not only works diligently, but also enjoys a lively social life. As Max and his compact yet formidable medical team confront unusual medical emergencies and personal challenges, they find themselves far from any help, making every decision count.
Other cast members include Sean Teale, Don Johnson and Phillipa Soo.
Murphy functions as both the writer and executive producer, collaborating with director Paris Barclay, alongside Jackson, Johnson, Eric Paquette, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Nissa Diederich.
