A Player Recreated Stardew Valley With Lego Bricks, And It's Breathtaking

As a dedicated Stardew Valley fan and Lego enthusiast myself, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of awe and admiration for Steve Jensen’s incredible work. His recreation of Pelican Town not only captures the essence of the game but also showcases his exceptional talent and patience.

2014’s acclaimed farming simulation game, Stardew Valley, has been beautifully recreated as a LEGO model by dedicated fan and LEGO enthusiast Steve Jensen. This week, Jensen showcased his impressive creation – the Pelican Town map from the game – at BrickCon, a convention held in Washington for LEGO enthusiasts.

In Jensen’s meticulous replica, you’ll find the town’s very own Jojo Mart, miniature Lego figures of the game’s characters (alongside their dwellings), the rundown Community Center that serves as a starting point for players in the game, and, not forgetting, the game’s distinctive logo.

At BrickCon, Jensen’s meticulously crafted game replica earned the People’s Choice Award, which he found unexpected but delightful. However, an even more astonishing event occurred during the convention: A meeting with Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, the creative mind behind Stardew Valley, who is also a fellow Washington resident. Barone dropped by to congratulate Jensen and take a photo together after the award ceremony.

On his Instagram post, Jensen wrote: “Can you believe who dropped by on Saturday afternoon, even before the awards ceremony began? It was someone I didn’t immediately recognize, and I must admit, I had a mini fan-girl moment when ConcernedApe revealed himself! Of course, I couldn’t resist giving him a behind-the-scenes tour so we could get a better look (and snap this photo)!

At Monroe, Washington, Jensen shares ownership of Bricks & Minifigs Monroe, a retail establishment specializing in Lego sets and figurines. His fellow employees congratulated him on social media, suggesting that his upcoming creation could potentially be showcased within the store premises.
