A Minecraft Movie’s Limited Edition Steelbook Is In Stock On Launch Day

The blockbuster movie based on Minecraft has just hit the shelves and can be purchased in 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, or DVD formats. For those eager to own it, there are several collectible editions available exclusively on Amazon and Walmart on release day (June 24). Both editions are priced affordably compared to most current home releases.

One of the special editions is the Limited Edition Steelbook, which comes with 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and digital versions, retailing for $38. If you prefer a standard Blu-ray edition, the Walmart-exclusive Crafting Table Edition, priced at $35, might be more enticing due to its unique foldable packaging.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that every Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray version of the movie comes with a voucher for its digital edition, usually valued at $20 independently. Interestingly, the standard editions aren’t much pricier than this separate purchase. The 4K Blu-ray edition retails for $30, while the 1080p Blu-ray is just $25. Additionally, you can stream the Minecraft Movie on HBO Max if you prefer that option.

From Block to Big Screen”. This large hardcover book offers an in-depth look at its creation process and released on April 22 for approximately $40. With 192 pages, it features interviews, exclusive images, and a comprehensive exploration of the creative journey. The second option is a coloring book named “A Minecraft Movie’s Official Coloring Book“, developed by Minecraft creators Mojang Studios and published by Random House Worlds. You can purchase this vibrant 80-page coloring book for around $15.18 (originally priced at $19).

Video Game Adaptations with 4K Blu-ray Steelbook Editions

If you’re looking to expand your library of family-friendly video game adaptations on high-definition, consider exploring some stunning 4K Blu-ray versions that come in collectible steelbook cases.

Among the few movie adaptations of video games that succeeded where “The Minecraft Movie” didn’t at the box office, there’s “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” This year, a new Steelbook Edition of this film was released exclusively by Walmart and it’s currently priced at $28. In April, the live-action Pokemon movie “Detective Pikachu” also got a Limited Edition Steelbook. Around the same time in April, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 became available on 4K Blu-ray with two distinct steelbook designs – one featuring Sonic and another exclusive to Amazon called the Shadow Edition.
