As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of technical hiccups in games, but the controller issues in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Xbox are something else. It’s like playing a game of Russian Roulette… with your controller sticks!

Players enjoying Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Xbox have encountered some peculiar problems with their gamepads, yet the development team is currently addressing this issue and working towards a solution.

Based on reports from Windows Central, Stalker 2 adjusts the gamepad deadzones to zero on Xbox consoles. Consequently, any minimal movement of the controller’s stick will cause the player character to move within the game.

The development team at GSC World has acknowledged they’re addressing the problem, but they haven’t given a specific release date for a fix yet. Stalker 2 currently has numerous technical glitches and bugs, and the developers have vowed to eradicate them all.

In spite of the challenges they faced, Stalker 2 marked a significant milestone today by selling more than one million copies on both PC and Xbox platforms, not to mention those playing it through Game Pass. This is quite an impressive feat, especially considering that the development team in Ukraine has been grappling with the ongoing Russian invasion.
