A new roster update for Madden 26 is coming out soon, bringing the in-game teams up to date with the latest player moves. This update reflects recent trades, free agent signings, injuries, and other changes to team rosters. Keep in mind this update only changes the players and doesn’t affect how the game plays. Still, it’s great to have accurate rosters when you’re playing against friends. Let’s get right to the release date for the Madden 26 Week 12 roster update.
Madden 26 Week 12 Roster Update Release Date
Okay, so I’m really hoping the Madden 26 Week 12 roster update drops on Thursday, November 18th, 2025! It’s usually timed to come out right before the Thursday Night Football game – this week it’s the Texans versus the Bills. EA Sports pretty consistently releases updates around then, but you never quite know for sure, so it could be a little later.
Week 12 begins with a Thursday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans. The Texans had a rough start to the season, beginning with three losses, but they’ve turned things around, going 5-2 since then, even winning two games with their backup quarterback, Davis Mills. While Buffalo will likely be a tougher opponent than teams like the Jaguars or Titans, we believe the Texans have a good chance of pulling off an upset.
The Vikings and Packers face off this Sunday in their first meeting of the season. Minnesota has struggled since their mid-season break, with only one win in five games. Green Bay recently ended a two-game losing streak, scoring 27 points in their last game against a weak defense, but they had only managed a combined 20 points in the two games prior. Both teams will be looking to turn their seasons around with a win this week.
Also that day, the Indianapolis Colts will play the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been having a tough season. The Colts are well-rested after a week off and hope to compete with the Patriots and Broncos for the best record in their conference. For the Chiefs, this is a really important game – they need a win to have a chance at making the playoffs.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face a tough challenge this Sunday, heading to Los Angeles to play the Rams. After two straight losses following their off week, the Bucs are in a difficult spot, especially with a strong Rams team standing in their way. Adding to the pressure, the Carolina Panthers are close behind in the standings, making this game crucial for Tampa Bay’s playoff hopes.
The Carolina Panthers face a tough challenge on Monday Night against the San Francisco 49ers. To win, rookie quarterback Bryce Young will likely need to repeat his strong performance from last week’s victory over Atlanta. This game is crucial for the 49ers too, as they’re battling for position in what many consider to be the league’s most competitive division.
There’s all sorts of exciting matchups in Week 12, and we can’t wait to see what happens.
